Pregnancy is the moment you as a woman look forward to and have fears of giving birth. All your concern then is how amazing the experience to bring your baby into the world will be more especially if that is your first baby. Most of the fear and concern will be about labour and what it is going to look like.
Though giving birth to a child is amazing and but sometimes safe when the baby is in its mother’s womb. You as a mother need to have a unique concentration on the child and there is a lot of this from the day a newborn baby emerges in a home.
All you need to do is to know what the needs of the newborn baby are, excluding the love you offer to him or her. Good knowledge in taking care of the baby associated with food, sleep and skin is highly needful. It is occasionally unbearable that you cannot handle it to your wishes since the eyes, bottom, the skin and other features are so delicate or fragile.
Talking of the baby skin care, it is the most primary factor in spite of its adaptability to the new surroundings. The baby’s skin is so reddish in colour that it offers irritation and infection to every touch or contact. For this reason, it is very good to wash the cloths with special detergents.
Baby skin loses moisture quickly and it needs time to absorb and retain moisture to its need. All you need to do is not only to keep your child with warm or cold perfume baths every day but also can do this on a suitable days and times. To care for a Newborn baby one need to be gentle and have special treatment on them for this reason it is best to protect the baby from bacterial infection by using homemade diaper and wipes while cleaning them up.
Coming heat rash and sunburn are some of the things that raze the skin. However, the skin understands and learns to accommodate with new surrounding so nothing is there to worry. Notwithstanding, that will not warrant you as a mother to be careless about your baby’s skin. Keeping of the baby from direct sunlight for a long period should be avoided and should not be used as a measure of infant care against heat and its effects for the baby needs the sunlight for some vitamins, but if such is been noticed by the mother, a physician’s attention is needed for the right cream to apply.
When you talk of Head care, the head is so delicate with soft hair. To keep it clean use only baby skin care natural shampoos maybe of the same product. The soft scalp is a protected area against rough handling when stuffing anything around it. For this reason, we mothers have to be careful while bathing the baby.
Another most important area is the Umbilical cord. The area around the Umbilical cord should be kept clean with hygienic soft cotton wool with spirits or alcohol application until and after it falls down.
Baby acne may have its effect for the first two or three months, in this case the mother should not panic and there is no need to treat unless infected. You may wonder why, the reason is that acne is protected with homely and regular baby baths with natural care therapy.
Also cradle caps should be handled with soft brush to clean using some herbal moisturizer. The best way to handle this is to use natural baby products avoiding synthetic products like talcum powder complimented by organic skin care treatments so as to avoid dry skin.
New baby is so delicate that if not handled with care will develop one problem or the other. As I have said in the first episode – Baby skin, their skin is so tender that it needs to handle with care and concern not minding what it takes. Protecting the baby appropriately perhaps with cheap baby clothing suiting to the weather is wise of the mother.
