On an every day basis we lose about one and a half liters of water just breathing. This number doesn’t even count the amount that we loose on hot days or working out. Water is probably the most important factor of acne. Water drains the body of unwanted material and empties it out either through a vile movement or through pee. The hard thing about consuming water is trying to figure out how much water you need to consume. Most people don’t consume water unless they feel thirsty, little do they know by the time that you actually feel thirsty you have started dehydration. Dehydration does great harm to the body. Dehydration weakens the body, lowers your energy and drains the natural oil from the skin. Draining the natural oil from the skin makes the skin dry and unhealthy which can create marks on the skin and unwanted acne. The quality of water is also very important to the skin and your body overall health. Some water has unnatural items such as metals and harmful chemicals that can harm the skin. When buying water try to purchase the water type is all natural. You can purchase this kind of water at a local health or all natural food stores. All natural vitamins can also have a great role on skin. You should talk to your doctor when trying to figure out which vitamins are good for you and your skin. There are all natural vitamins on the market that can increase skin health. Vitamins like “vitamin B5″ are a type of vitamin that can increase skin health. Vitamin B5 reduces oil that is naturally on skin because oil can grow to be harmful to the skin. It also has a strong influence on the action of hormones and the functions dealing with hormones. Hormones are usually bad when it comes to skin health. Hormones are the main reason why puberty is not a very good stage for skin life. Vitamin B5 tries to counteract those functions so that instead of being harmful to the skin, hormones will be healthy to the skin.

Normally when you have special needs such as sensitive skin moisturizer, you end up buying several products which makes the situation worst before you finally run into the perfect solution. The aim of this write up is to provide a quick cheat sheet if you will on how to select a very effective moisturizer for your skin care.

Before we get too far into this, you want to have a mindset to always look at the make up of each product by reviewing the label and ensure that you are not missing some obvious issues when you select a sensitive skin moisturizer for your personal care.

Let’s try to now look into what ingredients that is positive and safe for this type of moisturizer.

Shea butter – Taken from the seeds of the Shea tree, makes for a very natural moisturizing effect resembling that of oils produced by the skin. Based on scientific research and studies, this ingredient could show significant improving in smoothing in a short such as four to five weeks. This is all without the threat of side effects as some manufactured ingredients.

Jojoba oil – Extracted this time from the jojoba plant seeds, is considered by some people to be a miracle oil as it can moisturize very dry skin as well as reduce oil output from people with extra oily skin. It would also do a good job of making the skin softer and improve the way wrinkles and even stretch marks appear. Again as mentioned with shea butter, this oil has very little chance of any side effects or skin irritation.

Phytessence Wakame – Taken from Japanese algae or kelp, is wildly known as a great substance to maintain beauty. Its composition includes minerals such as potassium and calcium that helps the skin to keep a good balance of moisture. In addition, the high vitamin B content of this mineral goes a far way to relieve inflammation of the skin.

Now that we established some key ingredients for an effective sensitive skin moisturizer treatment, we will now look at those should not be included in the product that you purchase.

Mineral oils such as petrolatum and paraffin wax block the skin’s pores and increase your chance of acne to the skin. They will also dry out and take away the natural skin oils instead becoming a moisturizer. This exactly the opposite of what you wanted as it would increasing skin aging and dry skin.

Fragrance or Parfum – Great smelling skin is always attractive, however, these ingredients can mess up your nervous system which could case things like depression, hyperactivity and even irritability.

Triethanolamine (TEA) – Is utilized for controlling pH balance especially. This chemical has a very high chance of causing allergic responses as well as dryness. It will even contribute to extra darkness in the skin as well as skin eruptions with very small portions applied.

Parabens – This is normally added to skin care products to enhance the shelf life or simply as a preservative. While it is officially approved for usage in these products, it is nevertheless linked to allergic breakouts for people with sensitive skin types as we are trying to avoid in the first place. Some findings have even linked this substance to causes of breast cancer

In summary as we have seen from this short write up, its very critical to pay attention to what you but when looking for a sensitive skin moisturizer product. Your skin is previous and deserves more than just an uneducated purchase decision.

Larkland Morley is an engineer by profession but also likes to share is personal experiences in other areas of life such as grooming and skin care. In fact he has some personal experience in selecting sensitive skin moisturizer in the past and will share more on this over time.

The very reason you are looking for non pore clogging moisturizer proves that you are aware of importance of pores. Believe me; the point where most people falter is that even after understanding the importance of pores still they select a cream that instead of cleaning clogs them.

Many products contain an ingredient called mineral oil and its derivatives like wax, paraffin and petroleum jelly. All these ingredients are enemies of skin and its pores. They create an oily film on the outer surface of skin; which leads to accumulation of grime and dirt on skin and clogged pores. Clogged pores are the top reason of black heads and acne. These clogged pores also stop the skin to get rid of internal toxins via sweat. All these impurities that get trapped in your skin can lead to various skin issues like wrinkles, dullness and oily skin.

Whenever you choose a moisturizer make sure that it doesn’t contain any derivatives of mineral oil; instead a non pore clogging moisturizer has ingredients like Capuacu Butter, Avocado Oil, Manuka Honey, CoenzymeQ10 etc.

Lets discuss these ingredients in a little more detail.

Capuacu Butter – Is extracted from Capuacu fruit. It is a wonderful moisturizer and a natural anti oxidant. It helps you fight the negative effects of free radicals and reduces wrinkles. It is not at all greasy and oily and does not create any film on your skin. Once you apply it on your skin or face you’ll feel that it gets slowly absorbed by your skin.

Avocado Oil – It is one ingredient that works well with all kinds of skin; normal, dry or oily. It is used to hydrate the skin and provides protection against free radicals.

Manuka Honey – Unlike regular honey, Manuka Honey is not at all sticky and smelly. It helps in healing the skin quickly. It is also a very good anti oxidant.

Coenzyme Q10 – Though it does not help you in retaining the moisture but it plays a bigger role in skin care. It consists of very minute particles that get absorbed by the skin cells and helps in increasing the production of collagen from within. Collagen as you know is responsible for maintaining the firmness and elasticity of skin. It is proven in lab test that Coenzyme Q10 reduces wrinkles and makes skin soft and smooth to the maximum extent.

All these ingredients are natural and non oily. These are the core ingredients used to make a non pore clogging moisturizer effective and harmless. You are at a point where you understand that any moisturizer you use should not clog your pores, then make it a point you buy the best product.

You might find many non pore clogging moisturizer as claimed by the companies but don’t let them dupe you with false claims. Make use of the information we just shared and choose the right product.

As a starting point you can search such products on the internet. Click here for my website to find out more information about skin care products containing natural ingredients that I personally use.

Seabuckthorn oil is the pure natural oil extracted from the Seabuckthorn seeds or fruits which is highly rich in vitamins and minerals. It is an energetic medicine in the treatment of the dangerous skin disease called Rosacea. This oil has been used by both Eastern and Western medicine for the treatment of skin conditions over long years. It can protect the skin from ultraviolet rays, so the skin care product containing this oil can be used for sun protection.

Rosacea is a skin disorder caused due to the parasite human demodex. It is very dangerous and is responsible for all the major problems like rough skin complexion, pores, rosacea, hair loss, enlarging of pores, early aging, acne etc. As the Seabuckthorn oil is rich in essential Fatty Acids, Beta Carotene, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Flavonoids, it can easily kill these parasites and protect you from all kinds of skin disorders.

The EFA content in seabuckthorn oil is about 80-95% and the major EFA’s are alpha linolenic, oleic and linoleic. The high level of omega fatty acids makes seabuckthorn oil appropriate for decreasing the risk of heart disease. It contains nearly 90% unsaturated fat with over 30% of both linolenic acid and linoleic acids and hence can use as an antioxidant for preventing cardiovascular problems.

Seabuckthorn Oil is one of the main constituent extracted from Seabuckthorn which is the well known source of herbal medicines. Seabuckthorn plant is all together a medicinal plant and the leaves of it can be used for making a light odorous tea. This oil is used in many of the cosmetics to fight against wrinkles, dryness and other symptoms of prematurely aging skin. Not only for skin treatment it can be used internally for the treatment of ulcers, tumours and can decrease the risk of heart disease.

Most westerners neglect their vitamins and minerals, not to mention nutritional supplements. However, when it comes to skin care, there are a number of vitamins and supplements that you can take to help improve your skin’s appearance. These work through various antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and detoxification means. Some just make up for deficiency’s in your diet. Either way, one of these might be the “magic pill” you’ve been looking for, anecdotal reports have shown great success with some of these methods.

First on the list: Zinc. Most people are relatively unaware that the majority of American’s and anyone else that eats a “western” diet usually has a zinc deficiency. Zinc is concentrated most in the reproductive organs and in the skin. In the skin, zinc helps protect against bacteria and helps keep pores clear. With a zinc deficiency, you may have severe breakouts and have no idea the cause, just think you have some kind of “incurable” acne problem. This is why people with a zinc deficiency see such dramatic improvements in their acne in only days, because they are making up for a deficiency. Also expect improved levels of testosterone and improved sleep quality when taking zinc.

Another vitamin that is said to have acne fighting properties is vitamin B5 or pantheonic acid. This is known throughout the bodybuilding community, who load up on it to keep the skin clear. Those that take vitamin B5 usually also take vitamin A, vitamin C, and vitamin D. These are all very important in maintaining optimal skin function, which ties into your skin’s appearance.

In my opinion, the best supplement for skin care is omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA. These little gems are anti-inflammatory compounds that can cause a dramatic change in the quality of your skin. This is not a quick fix however, because it can take up to 30 days for the fish oil to build up in your system, but once it does it has profound anti-inflammatory properties. Expect much more radiant and “glowing” skin (not shiny or oily, but a healthy radiance). Fish oil is also well known for it’s ability to lower the risk of heart disease. Another great side effect is called nutrient partitioning: taking fish oil causes you to store less fat, burn more fat, and build more muscle (as well as recover from exercise faster).

Finally, I highly recommend antioxidants for general health and skin care in particular. There are lots of free radicals running around in your skin, and these are the eventual cause of the dreaded wrinkle. Many people waste money on expensive anti aging products when simply drinking green tea would be enough. Acai products are also great sources of antioxidants (I don’t recommend buying acai products online though, most are scams). You can also buy green tea and antioxidant capsules, which concentrate the antioxidant EGCG for your benefit.

What is the aspirin mask?
The aspirin mask is a homemade BHA mask available to each and everyone of us, totally inexpensive and highly efficient, made of salicylic acid or tablets of aspirin. BHA is known to help tremendously with cleaning pores from deep inside and therefore contribute to keeping our skin blemish-free. BHAs are efficient on existing blemishes as well, by helping them heal faster and keeping pores clean afterwards.
Indications: all skin types, especially normal to oily and combination skin, acne-prone and clogged skin.
Basic preparation: 1/4 tsp. salicylic acid (ask for it at pharmacy, if you cannot find it, then crush 3-5 tablets of plain aspirin instead), distilled water. Mix the powder with the water until it becomes of a creamy consistence, apply on clean dry skin (focus on T-zone and sides of the nose). Keep it on until completely dry. Take a small cotton pad, wet it lightly and begin scrubbing the areas covered with the mask, making small circles. Finally, rinse with plenty of water. It would be excellent to apply a calming mask or a hydrating mask first, followed by your regular moisturizer. Skin will be left completely smooth and even.
There are practically unlimited versions of this mask. You can add yoghurt for an astringent effect, aloe vera, honey. You can also make the mask using a basic moisturizer mixed with salicylic acid instead of water, as it will be less harsh on the skin and will be more easy to use.
Another option is to mix salicylic acid / crushed aspirin into a mask: into a clay mask, a hydrating mask or a soothing mask. My personal favourite is aloe vera mask with a hint of salicylic acid – application is much better, skin is less irritated and dried compared to aspirin with water, the feeling left after this mask is absolutely unique so smooth and clean!
If you use powdered salicylic acid, it is advisable to limit the quantity to 1/4 tsp. for the whole face, too much will burn the skin. If using aspirin tablets, you will probably need somewhere between 3 and 10 tablets depending on the area where you apply it.
Do not apply it near to eye zone, as it would be extremely drying and irritating for the sensitive skin there.
Refrain yourself from over-using it. For very oily skin and for severe blemishes, every 3 days would be more than enough in order not to stress the skin and obtain maximum efficiency. Other skin types should use it once a week or twice a month (dry to very dry, sensitive skin).

Tea tree, MELALEUCA ALTERNIFOLIA, native to Australia, is a tree or shrub with needle like leaves similar in appearance to cypress with heads of sessile pale flowers. The popular tea tree oil is derived from this tree. The aborigines of Australia have been known to have used the tea tree oil to treat a range of ailments from colds, sores to acne and even whooping cough.
Extensively used in aromatherapy, the leaves when crushed release essential oils of varying amounts and constituents. The oil is so potent that it can be diluted up to many times its volume and it still manages to retain its effectiveness all the same. Although the benefits of tea tree oil are numerous, for beauty treatments, it’s been found effective in skin and hair care. The following sections describe the uses of Tea Tree Oil for skin care and hair care.
Tea tree oil for skin care
Tea tree oil has been used effectively to treat acne, abscess, athlete’s foot, blisters, burns, cold sores, insect bites, oily skin, rashes, spots, warts and wounds. You can use tea tree oil to cure sunburns, diaper rash, toenail infections and problems of smelly feet.
Tea tree oil for hair care
Add a few drops of Tea tree oil to your regular shampoo to treat hair problems like persistent dandruff, itchy-scalp and even prevent head-lice. Massage it in, leave it on for 5-7 minutes and rinse off. Adding a few drops in pet shampoo/bath helps keep tics and rashes at bay.
Other benefits of tea tree oil
Fed-up with allopathic medicines? Packets of antibiotics that have gone down your throat seem to be of no use? The only things you find they have lightened are your pockets? Well, don’t panic, help is at hand, Tea Tree oil can be used to treat a variety of medical problems. A great remedy to soothe your sinuses; dab a drop of tea tree oil around your nose can help clear up blocked sinuses.
Add a few drops in a steam bath or vaporizer and inhale, a great relief for persistent colds and cough. Regular use of tea tree oil has been found to be effective in treating Asthma, bronchitis, catarrh, cough, sinusitis and even tuberculosis.
Tea tree oil is a great general disinfectant and can be effectively used to treat genito-urinary tract infections such as thrush, vaginitis, cystitis and pruitis.
Tea tree oil has properties that act as a immune booster. It helps equip the body to fight off a host of infections. Using tea tree oil is particularly effective if the body is already in a weakened condition due to illness, stress or prolonged treatment-involving antibiotics that lead to a reduction of the body’s natural resistance.
Using tea tree oil prior to a surgical operation or for those suffering from long-drawn debilitating illness has been found to be beneficial. The anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties have seen tea tree oil being used extensively in soaps, toothpastes, deodorants, disinfectants, gargles, germicides, aftershaves and colognes. Tea tree oil is safe to use, as it is non-toxic and non-irritant.
Although tea tree oil has no known side effects, some individuals may be sensitive to it. This calls for consideration of the strength of tea tree oil and should never be used undiluted on the body and particularly on sensitive areas.
Kevin Pederson has been managing a number of natural home remedies websites which have information on home based natural cures and references to some of the very useful oils like tea tree oils which are very good for your skin and hair .

Having oily skin can be very troublesome, what with all the effort it takes to keep your skin acne and pimple free. On top of this, you are also confronted with the problems of wrinkles, lines, and age blemishes. The only way to go is through the use of anti aging products for oily skin.

But before going into the ways in getting rid of these skin problems, you will need a general understanding of the causes of oily skin. First, there is the skin’s natural moisturizing substance called sebum.

The amount of sebum generated by the body determines the type of skin of a person. Too much of it causes oily skin, while too little of the same causes dry skin.

Although you may find lots of products for oily skin and dry skin separately, optimally, the product that treats both skin types is the recommended choice.

Ultimately, the treatment has to do with balancing the level of sebum in the body, so separate treatments or products for oily skin and dry skin do not make sense. Enough care and wisdom must be taken in choosing the right product for your skin care.

As a standard rule, skin of all types must be amply hydrated and properly moisturized. Aside from keeping the balance of moisture, an adequate anti aging product must also maintain the Collagen and Elastin levels in the skin.

Collagen and Elastin are skin proteins that, on adequate levels, help the skin maintain its smoothness, firmness, and elasticity. Once the levels of these skin proteins drop in the body, the skin becomes limp and flabby, and wrinkles and thin lines appear on the skin, especially on the face, forehead and neck.

Anti aging products for oily skin and dry skin should fundamentally possess any or all of the following strong and effective natural ingredients:

1)	Active Manuka Honey – This type of natural honey extract activates the generation of Elastin and Collagen in the body, for smoother, firmer, and more elastic skin.

2)	Babassu Wax – Extracted from a Brazilian palm plant, this is a very good soothing agent which maintains the level of sebum and likewise oil balance in the body.

3)	Maracuja – Derived from a Brazilian fruit plant, this contains linolenic acid, responsible for skin nourishment and hydration. It also keeps the sebum at optimal levels and balances the oils in the body also.

Bioactive keratin, grapeseed oil, and avocado oil are also natural substances that may be found in good anti aging products.

Here’s a real simple way to tighten face skin so you can look more youthful and healthy that doesn’t involve spending THOUSANDS of dollars on drastic and painful skin tightening procedures. This article explains how to tighten face skin the painless, cheapest, most natural way possible.

How to Tighten Face Skin to Make It More Youthful-Looking

Some people (obviously with extra money to throw around) choose to get drastic skin tightening procedures done involving lasers and infrared light. These procedures actually burn your skin in order to stimulate collagen production. If you didn’t know already, collagen is the primary protein that determines how firm and tight your skin is.

Some people have had success with these procedures, while others claim that it’s simply not worth the investment. Many people report pain and swelling in the area that the procedure was done, and some people have even experienced sudden acne breakouts. All in all, it doesn’t seem like the best treatment option to go with…

One option in particular seems like the most logical and reasonable treatment for tightening face skin. It involves using a set of high-quality topical skin care products designed to address the most common causes of wrinkles, fine lines, sagging skin, and common aging signs around the eyes.

What’s great about this option is that you can still encourage collagen production by using it, as long as you get a set of products with the right type of ingredients. Specifically, you should make sure it contains a breakthrough new ingredient called CynergyTK.

What’s so great about CynergyTK? Well, it’s a special type of bio-active keratin developed by a small New Zealand company. But more importantly, it is the only all-natural ingredient of it’s kind that actually stimulates the natural production of collagen protein INSIDE the skin.

Until recently, most “collagen-based” products actually contained collagen as an ingredient. But most people do not know that these products are ineffective because collagen molecules are too large to penetrate through the skin. And even if they could, their makeup is not similar to that of your own natural collagen so it would just be rejected anyways.

So make no mistake about it: If you are wondering how to tighten face skin naturally without having to spend THOUSANDS of dollars each month of drastic skin tightening procedures, you should definitely learn more about CynergyTK.

You can read all about CynergyTK and the all-natural skin care products containing it that tighten face skin, as well as other ingredients to look for in the best skin tightening creams by visiting my website listed below.

With all the skin care tips and information today, you might think it’s very confusing! All you want is what is best for your skin. It may be overwhelming for you to try to keep up with the constantly evolving technology.

Skin care tip #1 – your skin is unique. If your best friend uses “the most powerful product,” it may do nothing for you, or you might even have a reaction to it.

Before you consider buying any over-the-counter skin care products, there are a few basic facts about your skin you must know. These include:

Your skin type. It is oily, dry, normal, sensitive, or a combination?

Your skin complexion. Do you have fair skin that burns easily or light to medium that may burn? Or do you have a medium tone that usually tans or a darker complexion the only rarely burns? Or is your complexion so dark that you never burn?

Your skin concerns. Do you want preventative maintenance to avoid premature aging? Do you have a skin problem, such as persistent acne, age spots, melasma or rosacea? You may also have large pores, sun damage, facial wrinkles or fine lines that require special attention. Do you have eye puffiness or under eye bags that will require special care?

Your personal habits. Are you a smoker? Do you spend a lot of time in the sun? Do you take a daily vitamin? Do you consume a well-balanced diet? All these factors will affect how you should care for your skin.

Skin care tip #2 – one of the most essential beauty building blocks is one’s physical health. You should incorporate some simple, but very positive lifestyle habits as: exercise, water drinking and nutritious eating.

Skin care tip #3 – The basic steps to a flawless face consist of two key elements: cleansing and moisturizing on a regular basis.
