Have you decided for a new years resolution? I just did, this next year I will take action to improve my skin as much as I can. No matter if you have ignored your skin up until now or if you are an expert at skin care there is always room for improvement. These are some natural skin care tips that you can start implementing whenever you want.

1. Eat More Fresh, Organic Foods

Fresh natural foods support all the organs of your body, and your skin is your largest one. Fresh fruits and vegetables are the best things you can eat for radiant, youthful skin. Organic is best because pesticides increase the free radicals in your body, which cause faster skin aging.

2. Exercise Regularly

I admit, I have been slacking off lately when it comes to exercising my body. At first thought it seems like exercising has little to do with radiant skin. But the facts are that when you break a sweat your body gets rid of toxins that otherwise can flaw your skin. It is also pretty obvious that with a toned body comes firmer skin.

3. Only Use Natural Make Up

We all want to look pretty, but when I read about the effects chemical ingredients have on the skin I didn’t feel like using my make up anymore. I think the worst was that they make the skin age faster. Luckily there are completely natural make-up lines out there that give you both stunning looks and healthy, radiant skin.

4. Relax More

I certainly am guilty of stressing and worrying too much, and most of us don’t realize what this can do to the skin. When you stress a lot your hormones can get unbalanced which can cause acne and other issues, and stress also causes your skin to age faster.

So from now on let’s all breathe deeply throughout the day and release worrying thoughts, as worrying about things helps no one. Take time for meditation, yoga or whatever relaxes you – it can simply be taking a walk or baking a cake.

Keeping the facial skin moisturized is vital, but you don’t want to apply chemicals to your face daily as these are detrimental in the long-run.
