Our skin needs our protection and care. After all, it has long done its part to provide protection against infection and disease, as well as the damage the sun can cause. Its only right that we lavish it with our attention. The skin is the first area where aging is reflected. But aging can be delayed and skin texture and appearance may be maintained, and even improved.</p>
<p>We can lavish our skin with the treatment it needs. Botox, collagen injections and anti-wrinkle creams do the job of preventing the onslaught of wrinkles, age spots and sun spots. However, this article would take a quick glimpse on what we should not do with regards to skin care treatments and our lifestyle in general.</p>
<p>First, some skin problems may be because of poor nutrition. Our skin needs the proper vitamins and minerals so that it will stay nourished and attractive. Deficiencies in key nutrients such as vitamin B12 or vitamin E can lead to acne and other skin problems. Its best to keep our intake of friend foods and processed sugars to a minimum. We should also not forget to drink plenty of water.</p>
<p>Second, our lifestyle has a lot of bearing with the way we look. Not just the food we eat but the level of stress we take, the pollution we are exposed to and the amount of rest and relaxation we are able to get. Some medications we also take may have adverse effects on our skin.</p>
<p>Third, dont forget to cleanse, moisturize and exfoliate. These are three necessary skin care habits we should not fail to perform every day.</p>
<p>Let us be reminded to take extra care of our skin. That way, we are able to maintain our youthful and attractive appearance.</p>
